why zebras

Herd of Zebras by Panoramic Images

Because
  1. There are three species of zebras: Mountain, Plains, and Grevy’s zebras – just like there are three types of twins: identical, fraternal, and semi-identical (I bet you didn’t know that last one! Oh the information parents of twins come across during those short, almost nine months…);

  2. Each zebra has unique stripes unlike any other zebra - just like identical twin are unique individuals;

  3. Zebras cannot be tamed and trained like horses due to their wild unpredictable nature – just like my twins (as you also probably already knew);

  4. Members of a zebra family are caring: if one is attacked by a predator, others do not run away. They stick together as the stallion tries to drive away the predator – just like in our family lol;

  5. Zebras communicate with each other with high pitched barks and whinnying – you get the picture by now (correction, in our case, whining).
